Analyst Makes ‘All-Time Great’ Claims About Ravens Offense

Ravens Re-Sign DB, Place Him On NFI List

The Baltimore Ravens are looking to be one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL this season. Why else would they go out and acquire two elite playmakers at wide receiver?

The Ravens signed Odell Beckham Jr. to a one-year, $15 million contract. They hope he can return to form from his pre-ACL injury days.

Also, the Ravens used their first-round pick to select Boston College wide receiver Zay Flowers. He may be small compared to most NFL receivers but he is great with the ball in his hands. Flowers should be an asset from Week 1 to begin his career.

Craig Carton thinks this offense has a chance to be one of the best in the NFL. He mentioned, via his show, how it will be on the shoulders of Lamar Jackson and he could have an MVP-type season.

The only issue with Jackson in recent years has been his ability to stay healthy. Over the past two seasons, Jackson has played in 12 games each year. But, when Jackson has been on the field he has played at a high level.

The Ravens are a sneaky AFC championship contender. They have an elite quarterback and always seem to have a strong defense. It will be fun to watch the AFC North unfold this season with both the Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals. Both teams are capable of winning the conference, but one will have to enter the playoffs as a Wild Card team.

That is why we usually see division winners playing in the Super Bowl. Even though the Bengals are the favorites for the North, do not count Baltimore out.
