Analyst Makes Bold Claim About Ravens Offense This Season

Ravens Re-Sign DB, Place Him On NFI List

The Baltimore Ravens made a huge move when they moved on from Greg Roman. The former OC didn’t see eye to eye with Lamar Jackson, and it was time to get a new look to their offense.

With that in mind, Ryan Clark believes that hiring former Georgia Bulldogs OC Todd Monken will do wonders for their offense.

Stated that he’s a master of making the most of matchups and hinting at potential different looks every single week. Clark cites that we’ve already seen Jackson’s strengths on full display, and Monken’s style is simply a better fit for him and their current personnel.

Notably, the Ravens were already quite good, but they got somewhat one-dimensional at times with Roman. Their run-heavy offense was efficient, but he seemed out of sorts and ideas when it came to throwing the football, and sometimes, the blame fell on Jackson.

The Ravens have now given him two prime weapons in Odell Beckham Jr. and Zay Flowers, and Monken will reportedly give him more freedom to run no-huddle offenses and make adjustments at the line of scrimmage.

Likewise, as promising as this season could be for the Ravens, there will also be no more room or time for excuses or shortcomings.

Barring injuries, the Ravens should be a legit Super Bowl contender from start to finish, especially now that they’ve given Lamar the kind of pieces he was missing since he entered the league, not to mention one of the largest contracts in professional sports history.
