Lamar Jackson Sends Message To Ravens Fans

Ravens Re-Sign DB, Place Him On NFI List

The Baltimore Ravens made the news over and over throughout the course of the offseason, but not always for the best reasons.

The team was often tangled up in drama and controversies, either because of some players calling out the front office or because of Lamar Jackson’s infamous contract standoff.

But all that seems to be a thing of the past, and the Louisville product seems quite eager to get back on the field for training camp. Jackson took to Twitter to shout out Flock Nation and showed his excitement to get his sixth training camp started.

He should be, as he failed to finish the season for the second straight year, and it’s been a while since he’s been out there doing his thing.

There will be a big target on his back and an even bigger chip on his shoulder next season after all that was said about him, his game, and his durability, and that should mean trouble for the rest of the league.

Todd Monken has reportedly revamped the offense and rebuilt it around him, giving him more freedom to make adjustments at the line of scrimmage and run no-huddle offenses. The Ravens also added two prime weapons to their passing game in rookie WR Zay Flowers and Odell Beckham Jr., meaning we could see Jackson in more of a passer role as opposed to his usual scrambles.

Whatever the case, the clock is ticking, and the Ravens need to get the job done this season.
