Travis Kelce Calls Taylor Swift ‘My Significant Other’ as he Auctions Off Eras Tour Tickets at Patrick Mahomes’ Gala

The NFL quarterback, 34, referred to Swift, 34, as his “significant other” during a beautiful moment at their pal Patrick Mahomes’ The 15 and Mahomies Foundation Golf Classic fundraiser in Las Vegas on April 27. Kelce made the friendly connection when getting up on stage during an auction at the gala to announce that Swift had decided to raffle off four tickets to her Eras tour.

In a video released from the event on Instagram Stories, auctioneer Harry Santa, who joined Kelce onstage and looked to be presenting the evening’s auction, said in the caption that Kelce had “convinced” Swift to participate.

Kelce told guests, “I think, um, I was just talking to my significant other,” referring to Swift, who was seen in footage posted on X (formerly Twitter) sitting beside Patrick and his wife Brittany Mahomes at the gala, “and uh, we might have one more auction item that wasn’t on the docket.”

Kelce then said, “Has anyone heard of the Eras Tour?” The visitors in the room responded with a loud cheer. In another footage from the banquet, Swift waved a red napkin from her seat as Kelce and Santa began auctioning off her performance tickets.

Santa then stated to Kelce, as the camera swept across the room to where he stood, “Who would pay hundreds of thousands of dollars simply to know Taylor Swift is rooting for you because you won four of her tickets – this is absurd! “Let us go!” Kelce chuckled in return and waved what seemed to be a yellow napkin. As the bidding began, he exclaimed, “Let’s go, baby!” Swift’s tour tickets ultimately went for an amazing $80,000, Santa revealed in another Instagram Stories video.

Earlier in the evening, a guest at the gala shared a video on X showing Kelce and Swift arriving together at the event. The couple clasped hands as they moved past attendees to their table to join the Mahomes.

The attendee hailed the couple as “super adorable” and “down to earth” in the video’s caption. “NBD. “Just T Swift and her man Travis Kelce,” they captioned the video. “And they’re adorable together. So down to earth and nice… Just really wonderful, tough humans.”

The day before the gala on April 26, Kelce and Swift, who released her new album The Tortured Poets Department on April 19, were photographed on a double date with Mahomes at Easy’s Cocktail Lounge inside the ARIA Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip.
