Travis Kelce names two players he wants the Chiefs to draft

The Kansas City Chiefs have some important decisions to make in the upcoming draft, and Travis Kelce has some suggestions.

They have 10 picks in the draft, and a few needs here and there. But Kelce wants two players from one position in particular.

They need pass rush help and depth at the edge rusher spot and defensive tackle, they need a right tackle, cornerback depth, and receivers. The Chiefs will likely be targeting all of those needs, but Travis Kelce wants two guys in particular.

“I’ll tell you what — both of those guys [WR Zay Flowers and WR Quentin Johnston] could help us out right now,” Kelce said on NFL Network.

“That’s how special those guys are. It was fun to see them just have a blast running routes in the offseason [and] getting better. That’s what you really want to see out of young guys, is just the love for the game and the love to go to work and get better at your craft. Both of those guys seem like genuine, great guys off the field.”

Both of those guys are great, but they will both likely be gone before the Chiefs pick at 3. They would both be perfect fits for the Chiefs and be great building blocks to have for the wide receiver corps.

Johnston is a guy that has size and speed with the ball and can go up and get it. Flowers has the route running and speed to get past the secondary and be a deep threat. This would be amazing for the Chiefs, either one. But, I don’t think it would happen.
