The Bengals were 90 seconds away from their first Super Bowl Championship last season.
The reigning AFC Champs aren’t lacking confidence, despite coming up short against the Rams.
Star running back Joe Mixon believes the Bengals are poised to make another championship run.
“I feel like we might be the hottest thing smokin in the NFL on Sunday’s,” Mixon told FOX 19. “With the talent we got and who we added onto this year, I feel like we’re bound to have a hell of a season. The best thing about it is we’ve been there before and we know how to get there. Just gotta stick to the basics, one week at a time and that’s what’s gonna happen.”
Mixon ran for 1,205 yards and 13 touchdowns last season. He also had 42 receptions for 314 yards and three more scores.
He’s one of the best running backs in the NFL.

Smokin’ Joe Mixon brought the heat in his first interview since the Super Bowl.

Throw in Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd and the Bengals should be one of the best offenses in the league.
