Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski hasn’t made up his mind yet regarding his return next season.

He has been a crucial part of their team for the past two seasons. He along with Tom Brady led the Bucs to a Super Bowl in their first season in Tampa.

Prior to playing for the Bucs, Gronk was a part of the Patriots dynasty. He won three Super Bowls there. Moreover, he had transformed himself into an all-time great with his exceptional skills on the field.

Recently, Gronk’s former teammate and close friend Julian Edelman appeared on the All The Smoke Podcast.

Edelman talked about his playing days in New England alongside Brady and Gronk. He went on to heap praises for Gronk and claimed he is the best tight end in the history of the game.

Edelman said, “Gronk was Insane! I have said it so many times, he looks like an 8th grader playing against the 2nd graders in the league. There is like a four-year span where you couldn’t tackle him, and that’s why guys started to go low at him, and then he blew out his knee.”

He added, “He was so athletic, fast, and can make catches. I think he’s the best Tight End that I have seen not just in this era but I think ever.”

Edelman is certainly spot on with his facts about Gronk. He is unarguably one of the best to ever play at his position.

Will Rob Gronkowski return to the Bucs in the upcoming season?

There had been major doubts about the return of Gronk next season. When Tom Brady decided to retire at the end of the last season, Gronk quitting the team was also quite expected.

However, Brady is back and everyone is waiting for Gronk to join him. Both of them are still quite good on the field despite their age.

The duo together has ruled the NFL for the past decade. Brady certainly wants his partner in crime back, but Gronk previously stated that he hasn’t made up his mind yet. Chances of his return are very likely because Brady will find a way to convince him to return, just like he has done in the past.
