For a superstar athlete, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow keeps things very close to the chest. It fits the profile of someone who spent his most formative childhood years growing up in The Plains, OH.
Burrow doesn’t do very many interviews, and his face isn’t plastered across national advertisements by design. He’s choosing to focus more on philanthropic endeavors and football in the early portion of his career.
But there’s room for some fun along the way, as evidenced by his latest sponsor video.
Burrow promoted his newest sponsorship with Bodyarmor SuperDrink, a popular electrolyte beverage ala Gatorade, in the presence of Barstool Sports personality and former North Carolina backup quarterback Caleb Pressley.
Pressley has grown an immense following as an interviewer for the notorious sports blog website. His interviews are anything but traditional as his deadpan delivery attempts to trip up his guests in hilarious fashion. He was even able to crack Burrow a couple times in their discussion about weightlifting and football.
