Aaron Rodgers is on his way to the New York Jets.

Multiple reports indicated on Monday that the Green Bay Packers have agreed to a deal that will send the future Hall of Famer to New York for draft picks.

The deal should be official before the start of the 2023 NFL Draft on Thursday.

Rodgers, as long as he passes his physical, will be a Jet. And he’s not wasting any time when it comes to trolling his new team.

Shortly after news broke that the Jets are acquiring Rodgers, a quote from Zach Wilson, the No. 2 overall selection by New York in the 2021 NFL Draft, started making the rounds on social media.

Back in January, Wilson told reporters that if the Jets add a veteran quarterback this offseason, he’ll make that quarterback’s life hell.

Rodgers saw the tweet with the quote (from the Barstool Sports Twitter account) and immediately “liked it”.

That should be an interesting dynamic this season.

Rodgers might be playing in the AFC in 2023, but he’s still going to be the same Rodgers. Jets fans should expect plenty of drama — especially after next season when Rodgers has to decide whether or not he’s going to return in 2024.
