Vanessa Bryant and her family get VIP sneak peek at Avengers Campus inside Disney’s California Adventure

On Thursday, Vanessa Bryant and her family got a VIP sneak peek at the six-acre Avengers Campus a day before it opens to the general public inside Disney California Adventure Park. The 39-year-old widow of NBA star Kobe Bryant brought her three daughters – Natalia, Bianka, and Capri – as well as her sister-in-law Sharia Washington to the Anaheim theme park.

Vanessa posted lots of behind-the-scenes action, including the upcoming ride WEB Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure featuring footage of Tom Holland. In WEB Slingers, MCU fans board a vehicle and help weave a frenzied web to trap rogue Spider-Bots from running amok.

Bryant shared a selfie in front of the Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! ride, which took over The Twilight Zone-themed Tower of Terror back in 2017.The LA native pointed out a parking placard for Edwin Jarvis, who served as the Stark family butler and inspired Tony’s interface computer system J.A.R.V.I.S. Vanessa procured $17 ‘Molecular Meltdown’ containing vanilla ice cream and $16 ‘The Regulator’ beer containing Patrón Silver Tequila from the Pym Tasting Lab. ‘Avengers Campus cheers!’ Bryant – who boasts 15M Instagram followers – captioned a gif with Sharia.

‘Tequila sips because I’m a lightweight.’ At the Pym Test Kitchen, the excited squad indulged in the $15.49 ‘Not So Little Chicken Sandwich’ and $12.99 ‘Quatnum Pretzel with cheese-beer sauce. There were also $7 ‘Snack Molocules’ bag and superhero-themed toys galore at The Collector’s Warehouse. Vanessa is clearly a big Disney fan having also spent her 39th birthday at the ‘happiest place on Earth’ last month. Natalia Diamante, an 18-year-old IMG Model, got into the spirit by donning a comic book-style Avengers T-shirt for their fun in the sun. Bryant also shared a solo snap of her daughter Capri Kobe – turning 2 on June 20 – who wore a cute red ribbon in her curly ponytail.

The family fun was a welcome distraction for Vanessa, who blasted Nike for releasing unauthorized ‘MAMBACITA’ sneakers she helped design in honor of her late daughter Gigi. ‘The MAMBACITA shoes are NOT approved for sale. I wanted it to be sold in honor of my daughter with ALL of the proceeds benefitting our @mambamambacitasports foundation,’ Bryant wrote that morning. ‘But I did not re-sign the Nike contract and decided not to sell these shoes. (The MAMBACITA shoes were not approved to be made in the first place). Nike has NOT sent any of these pairs to me and my girls. I do not know how someone else has their hands on the shoes I designed in honor of my daughter, Gigi and we don’t. I hope these shoes do not get sold.’

Vanessa is still reeling from the January 26, 2020 helicopter crash that claimed the lives of the retired LA Laker, who died at age 41, and their daughter Gianna Maria-Onore, who died at age 13.The high school sweethearts were married for an impressive 19 years, despite Vanessa filing for divorce in 2011 and withdrawing the legal docs in 2013.
