VANESSA BRYANT REMEMBERS KOBE AND DAUGHTER GIGI ON POIGNANT ANNIVERSARY

Vanessa Bryant will keep Kobe and GiGi Bryant in her heart. The celebrity mom took to Instagram on Wednesday (Dec. 29) to shed light on a memory of her late husband and daughter that warmed the hearts of her supporters.

Vanessa uploaded a candid from Kobe and GiGi’s time spent courtside at a basketball game in 2019. The celebrity father and his daughter embraced one another while giving photographers their attention.

“My babies,” Vanessa said of her late husband and daughter. “My world,” the celebrity added. “Two years ago.”

Kobe and GiGi Bryant died in a helicopter crash on January 26, 2020. The celebrity father and his daughter were headed to a basketball game at Kobe and Vanessa Bryant’s Mamba Sports Academy.

A total of nine people, including the aircraft’s pilot, died in the accident. Vanessa changed the name of her and Kobe’s sports academy to the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Academy.

“Mambacita” was a nickname GiGi went by both on and off the basketball court. “There are no words for what you’ve been through and for the kind of strength you’ve had to find for the past two years,” one supporter of Vanessa Bryant wrote to celebrity.

“I’m sure they are so proud for what you’ve done publicly and privately for their legacies,” the fan continued. “Sending love.”
Vanessa Bryant has indeed worked to ensure that both Kobe and GiGi Bryant’s legacies remain respected.

The celebrity shared how she continues to move forward during a recent interview with “This pain is unimaginable [but] you just have to get up and push forward,” Vanessa told the media source.

“Lying in bed crying isn’t going to change the fact that my family will never be the same again,” the celebrity mom said. “But getting out of bed and pushing forward is going to make the day better for my girls and for me. So that’s what I do.”
