Travis Kelce Shares His Feelings On Taylor Swift Writing A Song About Him

Taylor Swift has made a career of singing about her relationships, and her most recent boyfriend, Travis Kelce, is no exception.

Kelce told People during his Kelce Jam’s Backyard Barbeque over the weekend that he is “biased” towards the tune ‘So High School’ from Swift’s latest album The Tortured Poets Department. “I might be a little biased to ‘So High School,'” Kelce told People about his favorite song off the album while at a music event he hosted in Kansas City.

Swift fans have long thought that the song is about Kelce since it has lyrics such as “You know how to ball, I know Aristotle,” “You knew what you wanted and boy, you got her,” and “Are you gonna marry, kiss, or kill me?”, which is apparently a reference to this old clip of Kelce promoting his reality show.

Swift fans also noticed that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s initials are highlighted in the ‘So High School’ lyric video on YouTube. Given that Kelce’s favorite song is the one that’s about him it’s certainly easy to imagine that perhaps he enjoys the attention he’s getting from his girlfriend in her work.

The NFL is obviously betting on Kelce and Swift’s friendship continuing into the fall, as Mike North, the NFL’s Vice President of Broadcasting, unexpectedly stated that the league factored in her tour dates when creating the 2024 schedule.

The Kansas City Chiefs, who are trying to become the first club in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowl titles, will host the season’s first game on Thursday, September 5, against the Baltimore Ravens. Kelce will stay in Kansas City with the Chiefs for at least another two seasons after signing a two-year, $34 million contract earlier this summer.
