Rihanna beams in rare snap with parents as she spends quality time at home

But the Diamonds songstress isn’t letting her busy schedule get in the way of some quality family time. Taking to Instagram, the star revealed how she’d gone home to Barbados for some time away, as she posed next to her parents in an adorable family pic. In the snap she appeared to be wearing little makeup, while she rested her head on her mum Monica Braithwaite’s shoulder.

Her dad Ronald Fenty was also in the photo with his arms wrapped around the pair, as all three of them beamed into the camera. Riri had previously shared a post of just herself and her dad and captioned the piece with a father daughter emoji. Fans cooed over the picture and some even called the pair twins.

One wrote: ‘I love this picture. Girl I know how it feels to be around your parents. It seems like life is instantly at peace. At least that’s how I feel.’ Another added: ‘You are really the perfect mix of both of them.’ Someone else commented: ‘Girl looking like chu daddy (sic)’ ‘Beautiful Family so much Love what a treasure,’ a fourth said.

And it seems it’s all about family for the star, as she also revealed she is going to be an auntie to her Fenty muse Slick Woods’ child. After the model confirmed her pregnancy news, Rihanna posed with her pal and cupped her baby bump in an Instagram picture.

The 30-year-old captioned the photo: ‘Saphir, aunty can’t wait to meet you.’ It appears the photograph is a throwback, as her little bump seems to have ballooned in the past weeks. The face of Fenty revealed she only has a month to go and confirmed to Elle that she is going to have a baby boy with model Adonis Bosso.

She said: ‘I hear sob stories about baby daddy drama. Being 21 [she turned 22 on 13 August] and my baby’s father being excited is just step one. There are girls who don’t even have that.’
