Elle revealed the conversation in 2020 and it quickly went viral on social media. During an ESPN show from 2020, journalist Elle Duncan revealed her conversation with Kobe when she was 8-months pregnant.

She revealed that Kobe was happy to know that she was having a girl, and he himself admitted that he would love to have five more girls if he could.

 

 

“He (Kobe Bryant) high-fived me ‘girls were the best,’” Elle Duncan on Kobe’s reaction when he learned she was 8-month pregnant. “I asked him for advice on raising girls, seeing as though he quite famously had three at the time.

And he said ‘Just be grateful that you’ve been given that gift because girls are amazing’. His third daughter, Bianca, was about a year and a half old at the time.

 

 

So, I asked if he wanted more children… I was like ‘four girls? Are you joking like what would you think? How would you feel?’ And without hesitation, he said, ‘I would have five more girls if I could. I’m a girl dad.’

”Elle got emotional on the live show while revealing her conversation with Kobe. Kobe and Vanessa had four daughters: Capri, Kobe, Gigi, and Bianka. Natalia is the eldest of them all and is a volleyball player.

She turned 19 in January this year. Gianna was younger than Natalia and adopted basketball, just like her dad. She wanted to be a professional WNBA player in the future. Bianka is five years old, while Capri is two.
