NBA superstar Steph Curry talks about is multi-car motorway smash, damaging his £100,000 Porsche

NBA superstar Steph Curry has been involved in a horror multi-car motorway smash, damaging his £100,000 Porsche Panamera in the process. The former league MVP and Golden State Warriors star, 30, crashed on Highway 24 in Oakland, California in bad weather earlier today.

Curry appeared to be unhurt as he remains sidelined from his basketball duties with a long-running groin injury. The three-car smash occurred at 9am local time, with a California Highway Patrol spokesman claiming Curry’s vehicle was hit TWICE. Firstly, a car spun and smashed into the Porsche, before a second rocketed into the rear of the luxury car.

The three-time NBA champion’s £100,000 sports car was badly damaged, with the front end completely hanging off.No other drivers involved in the crash appear to have picked up an injury. Curry was not set to play in tonight’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers due to his long-running injury.

The NBA’s only ever unanimous MVP – in 2015-16 – hasn’t played since the 134-111 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on November 8 – missing the last seven games. The Warriors – still the reigning champions – have won just TWO of those games in his absence as rumours of dressing room rifts circulate.
