In honor of Mother’s Day, Vanessa Bryant and daughter Natalia Bryant speak on their love and admiration for each other with Vogue while modeling jewelry by BVLGARI(Bulgari). “My mom, she’s really the strongest person I’ve ever known,” Natalia shares during the interview. “You’re always there. I would say that you’re like the sun. You’re always shining this beautiful smile. And you’ll always find the sun somewhere.
Even if you can’t see it, it’s shining somewhere.” Speaking of the lessons she has learned from her mother, Natalia says, “Over the years, she taught me confidence, and that beauty comes from the inside first,” Natalia says. “Beauty fades, so be sure to be positive, confident, and like who I am, my morals and views. That’s definitely helped shape who I am as an individual.”

Vanessa Bryant also speaks of her firstborn daughter with as much admiration: “I wish that I had someone like you when I was growing up. You’re such an amazing—not only just an amazing daughter, but an amazing friend. You’re like the constant north star to all your friends. No matter what, you’re always there and they can always rely on you and count on you.”
She continues, “Birthday cards, Christmas cards, I just cherish all of her artwork and things like that,” she explains. “Anything handwritten and meaningful from her heart is the best gift.” Bryant also has some advice for other mothers. She writes on Instagram, “Leave a legacy. It’s not just a mother’s love but the legacy we leave behind.
I loved having the opportunity to spend time with my daughter Natalia while doing this campaign. I love you @NataliaBryant. Thank you @voguemagazine and @bulgari for this amazing experience on this Mother’s Day! Thankful for this time. Thankful for this footage. Thankful for this bond.”
Natalia expressed the same sentiments as her mom, writing on Instagram, “Thank you @voguemagazine and @bulgari , I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to express the appreciation and admiration that I have for my mother and the legacy she has bestowed upon me. Forever grateful for what you’ve taught me. I love you.”
