He’s got a property portfolio to rival some of the richest people in the world. But the place Lewis Hamilton, 36, likes to call his home is his sprawling abode in the Colorado mountains, and sent tongues wagging on Tuesday after stunning model Camila Kendra posted snaps wearing his shirt in his Colorado home.
Sharing his love of the stunning terrain, the racing driver has shared pictures of himself playing in the snow on expensive snowmobiles or looking out across the peaks after reaching the top of a mountain on a track bike in the past.
The Formula 1 star previously told the BBC: ‘I’ve never really been home [before].’In my winter, I go to the mountains [in Colorado], which I really see as my main home, because it’s a house and it’s full of love and memories from people, the family that come every winter. ‘Where I live in Monaco, it’s been somewhere I go back to and I’d call home but it lacks those memories. ‘I’d be there for short periods of time. So it’s not been the easiest.’
The sportsman owns homes in a number of different countries, ranging from his £18million six-bedroom villa in London, to a stunning £32million New York penthouse. Lewis also owns a three-bedroom apartment in Switzerland and a house in Monaco. Taking to social media in the past, Lewis has given his followers a glimpse at his home in the US. In one image shared to Instagram he could be seen sitting outside in the sunshine as he enjoyed a pancake breakfast, while in another he could be seen sitting in his ski suit looking out over the snowy tops after a day on the piste.
In another snap he could he seen topless as he cooked up some food inside, while in others he enjoyed the great outdoors, with a helicopter flying over head or enjoying the summer weather as he paddle boarded on a crystal-clear lake. The star was even pictured lifting weights as he looked out over the green surroundings of the Rockies in one picture, while in another snap he could be seen showing how much he loved his home by hugging the pillar in one of the rooms. It comes as Lewis sparked speculation he is ‘growing close’ to stunning model Camila as she posted snaps wearing his shirt in his Colorado home. Camila, 27, has shared photos in the F1 ace’s lavish home, to the delight of fans, even wearing a plaid shirt of his in one candid snap. Another snap saw her pose in leggings and a bralet with one of Lewis’ trophies visible – and was shared to her 427,000 Instagram followers – while he also got click happy on some of her sizzling bikini-clad snaps.
The Dominican Republic-born beauty recently ended her eight month romance with The Bachelor star Tyler Cameron, with a source telling Us Weekly ‘Camila broke off the relationship, it was time for her to refocus on her own very lucrative career.’ The Sun reports fans have delighted in spotting Camila in Lewis’ home, saying: ‘Good for her — he’s just been voted sportsman of the year in the UK’ with another calling him ‘an upgrade’. Lewis also follows the model on Instagram and has been liking her racy photos. However a source told the publication, Lewis and Camila are pals, saying: ‘They’ve been friends for a few years. ‘That’s why she’s staying at his house and wearing his shirt.’
