Lewis Hamilton says he ‘wants kids’ – but has no time for women

The four-time world champion revealed his “love life is non-existent right now” and he won’t have a family until his career slows down. Hamilton, 33, claims he doesn’t have time to think of anyone else, let alone a girlfriend or a child. “My love life is non-existent,” he said. I’m a workaholic. I simply don’t have time for it.”

His only long-term relationship of note with pop singer Nicole Scherzinger, 40, ended three years ago. He hasn’t been able to get a girl since. “It’s hard to keep up a relationship when you travel as much as I do,” he said. “I want to have kids, but I want to be there for them.” Lewis showed his paternal side while taking a selfie with three-year-old race fan Leila McKay ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix.

The Hertfordshire-born driver, estimated to be worth more than £200million, has turned his attention to the catwalk and is pals with model Winnie Harlow. He has spoken of getting into fashion full time when he retires and has launched a Tommy Hilfiger range.

But he has come under criticism for his sometimes questionable fashion choices. He said: “Rappers were wearing baggy clothes, so that was how I dressed as a kid. It was terrible, but it was the in thing.”
