Green Bay Packers Expected To Target Former Super Bowl MVP

The Green Bay Packers are going to certainly look different going into the 2023 season. The franchise-altering off-season saw the Green Bay Packers finally pull the trigger on the Aaron Rodgers trade.

The Packers and Jets finalized their trade to send Aaron Rodgers to New York just a few days before the start of the 2023 NFL Draft.

That leaves the Packers’ quarterback room with Jordan Love, Sean Clifford, and Danny Etling. However, it may not be that way for long. With Aaron Rodgers gone, the Packers quarterback room has a combined one NFL start. Jordan Love is the man going forward, and it’s worth being excited about his potential.

He flashed for a moment against the Eagles last year, when he led two scoring drives in the fourth quarter while completing 6 of 9 passes for 113 yards and one touchdown.

Behind Love currently is Sean Clifford, a surprise fifth-round pick many believed the Packers reached on, and Danny Etling.

Adding a veteran voice to this room is something that would not only make Love more comfortable, but maybe head coach Matt LaFleur too. With the Green Bay Packers taking a quarterback in the fifth-found of the draft, it would be surprising if hey allocated more off-season resources to the position.

However, Jordan is not wrong when he states a veteran QB presence would be huge in the locker room. That being said, Jordan Love say behind Aaron Rodgers for three years and soaked up as much information as he could. If there was ever a three-year quarterback ready to lead the QB room, it is Jordan Love.
