Reese certainly has a case after winning the school’s first women’s basketball national championship, but fans were eager to bring up other names. One of those names is Joe Burrow, who led LSU to a national title of his own in a Heisman-winning season for the ages.

Burrow dominated in his final year at LSU, leading the Tigers to the College Football Playoff and the national title. LSU went a perfect 15-0, playing in only three games where their margin of victory was seven points or less. Burrow won the Heisman trophy for his efforts that season, becoming only the second player in school history to win the award.
