Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp took a small jab at Matthew Stafford on Tuesday. Kupp knows that the team has two Georgia quarterbacks after they drafted Stetson Bennett in April.
He said that Bennett is the more athletic of the two. “He’s definitely the most athletic quarterback from Georgia that we’ve got on our team,” Kupp said.

Kupp is likely messing around with Stafford since they’re teammates but it’s still something nonetheless. Stafford is expected to be the Rams’ starter for this upcoming season even though he battled a lot of injuries last year.
He only played in nine games and finished the season with 2,087 yards through the air, 10 touchdowns, and nine interceptions.
He’ll be hoping to stay healthy for next season but if his injuries do flair up again, the Rams will be happy that they drafted Bennett when they did.
On a Rams team that features nearly 40 new players, it does not take much to qualify as a seasoned veteran. Quarterback Matthew Stafford is preparing for his 15th NFL season but many of the players who will be counted on this season are second- and third-year pros.
