Carlos Alcaraz Matches Incredible Rafael Nadal Record.

Carlos Alcaraz displayed some excellent skills on the court and impressed the fans at the US Open 2021. He managed to reach the quarter-finals and was playing well against Felix Auger-Aliassime before retiring from the match in the middle due to an injury.

Even though the US Open 2021 didn’t end the way Carlos Alcaraz expected, there is some great news coming for the rising star. He has now entered the list of the top 50 ATP players for the first time and is the new World No.38 player.

Alcaraz was the World No.55 player before the beginning of the US Open 2021. However, after his brilliant run at the Grand Slam, he climbed 17 spots and is now at the 38th spot.

Interestingly, he defeated World No.3 Stefanos Tsitsipas in the third round of the US Open 2021. With this, he became the youngest player to ever beat a top-3 player at a Grand Slam since the computerized rankings were first introduced in 1973.

It looks like Alcaraz is after every Rafael Nadal record. At 18 years of age, he is the youngest to enter the top 50 ATP players since Nadal accomplished the feat in 2004.

The 20-time Grand Slam champion Rafa was just 17-years-old when he became the World No.37 player in the last week of April 2004. It was just after 13 months from this point of time, when the Spaniard lifted his first major at the French Open 2005.

Carlos Alcaraz has the potential of earning a huge name in the sport one day. However, in order to do so, he has to remain fit and deliver consistent performances on the court. Will he be able to make a phenomenal comeback next season?
