Not too long ago, Patrick Mahomes’ mother, Randi Martin, shared an update on her mother, Debbie Martin. She took to Twitter to reveal that her mom was extremely sick and was at the hospital. Given the family’s closeness, Grandma Debbie certainly had the respect of every family member.

After the critical health update, Randi Martin’s closer friend Teresa Jane shared the news of Debbie Martin passing away.
On Facebook, Jane posted a collage and wrote, “My best friend [Randi Mahomes] lost her best of best friends yesterday…. Her sweet mom. The one who showed up for everyone every time. The person more like her than anyone, the person who loved her no matter what …”
Randi Martin’s friend requested everyone to keep Debbie in their prayers. Moreover, Patrick Mahomes’ mother’s phone is buzzing constantly with messages and calls and she cannot respond to all of them.
The Facebook post also included information about the memorial service. Debbie was one of Patrick Mahomes’ biggest supporters. From his athletic beginnings in Texas, she has remained one of the QB’s biggest support systems. Her support was visible in his grandchild’s journey to the Super Bowl LVII, too.

The Super Bowl LVII had the ultimate hype as the Kelce Bowl, but Mahomes’ grandma also attracted fame. Debbie’s support for Patrick Mahomes was clear as day after the Chiefs’ AFC Championship sweep over the Bengals.
On Instagram, Randi Mahomes shared a video where she and Debbie had a bet regarding the quarterback. Since Mahomes’ mother won, her grandma had to chug the Coors Light.

She was having some victory beverages to commemorate her grandson’s AFC sweep, who was present with the family when they took the video. Patrick Mahomes comes from a tightly-knit family spanning four generations, and Debbie received reverence and love from each generation.
